In pursuing the bachelor's degree in Game Art & Design, students are first encouraged to master hand skills through a rich variety of fundamental art courses and then learn to use 2-D and 3-D design tools to create characters, backgrounds, animations, and textures used in producing computer/video games and multimedia. In addition, they acquire a level of knowledge in programming and scripting to be able to intelligently converse with programmers.

Graduates of this program can expect to find entry-level jobs such as concept artist, 3-D modeler, effects artist, level designer, interface designer and illustrator. The bachelor's degree program also provides a unique learning opportunity in the management of projects and development teams.
