Default I applied for a position as a QA Tester....but

I applied last Thursday for a QA Testing position and called to follow-up this week. The call was answered by a receptionist, who then redirected to me to somebody. It went to voicemail and I left a message.

I then called the next day, hoping I could get a hold of them, and I didn't.

And then for the final time I called yesterday, this time asking for the hiring manager...I got a different voicemail it seemed, but again...no answer.

I'm not going to be calling again, possibly until next week. But it's a little frustrating that I can't get through to anyone.

Tips? Should I just be patient? I've been waiting for a long time for an opportunity like this to come up and I'm afraid if I miss it I might not get another for a long time.

Craz, you shouldn't call again. When you apply for a job, you need to then go apply for another, and then another. Then you need to go about your daily life as if none of that ever happened. If somebody calls you back, then deal with it. There are two bad things that might happen:
1. Maybe nobody calls you back.
2. Maybe you get multiple offers, and have to decide between them.

Okay. Applying at other places isn't an option, any Game devs that live anywhere close to me either aren't hiring or don't exist.

So I guess I just wait and see then,

Thank you for the response!
