I'm sort of new to the whole game design thing. A friend (and instructor) of mine showed me some programs/languages I could learn (Game Maker, DarkBASIC, etc), but I still don't know exactly what I want to do. My programming skills are okay and my art skills are about as good as a rock (aka they don't exist). I also have pre-existing conditions (Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus) that make life a bit harder than usual (in fact, I'm recovering from a staph infection and two major surgeries associated with it). I'm worried that I may not be good enough to learn what's needed to get into the industry (not to mention that I'll be 30 on June 3). Any help would be appreciated and if you need any more information from me, I'll post it in a reply. Thanks! ^_^

Don't worry about age, I have friends that were in their mid 30s when they started their first job in the game industry.
