The Montreal International Game Summit sent out some new information today about its upcoming conference in November.

60 percent discount for students, according to the web site, though admission prices are not yet listed.

While I missed the show last year, I did attend in 2005 and had a great time. I heard a couple of great talks that I still remember today about sound design and game design in particular. Plus, Montreal is a beautiful city.

I would go to see Clint Hocking (Ubisoft) and Ian Bogost (author, academic, and founder of Persuasive Games) speak.
