Hey to all forum users! I'm obviously new here and require some guidance. Won't reply often though, as I don't live with (regular) internet access at home. I'm currently a student in South Africa, though I'm Mozambican. But I grew up in the US and Australia, where I found my love for games. Not wanting to be ungrateful to my dad or anything, but the current degree (Financial Management) I'm studying towards isn't something I enjoy - at all.
I read Gamasutra almost daily, and would say I'm good with writing (which is my passion - save for the moments of writer's block :/). Now my question is, for a career in game development: which would be a logical step after finishing a BCom in Financial Management; game design or game production? And don't suggest dropping my current degree :P that would be a waste, as I only have a year or so left. PS: I'm a big fan of narrative in video games. |
