In 1995, The Art Institute of Phoenix opened its doors. There are now more than 900 students who attend the school, seeking bachelor of arts and associate of applied science degrees and diplomas. The Institute offers bachelor's degrees in Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Multimedia & Web Design, and Media Arts & Animation and associate degrees in Animation Art & Design, Culinary Arts, Graphic Design, and Video Production. The diploma programs are The Art of Cooking, Baking & Pastry, and Website Administration. Each of these programs in the creative and applied arts are offered on a year-round basis, allowing students to continue to work uninterrupted toward their degrees. The faculty, many of whom are working professionals, strives to strengthen students' skills and cultivate their talents through well-designed curricula. The Art Institute of Phoenix in Arizona is a branch of The Art Institute of Colorado (Denver) and is a member of The Art Institutes, which has additional locations in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Los Angeles-Orange County, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Schaumburg (IL), Seattle, and Washington, DC.
