Wake Tech is the leader in offering a 2-year Associate of Applied Science Degee in Simulation and Game Development. The program was developed under the sponsorship of a National Science Foundation grant, with content designed and annually reviewed by game industry professional to meet the needs of the local game companies. The degree program offers two tracks: one for art, the other for programming.

Course content includes training in the following software: Photoshop, 3DS Max, Mudbox, Level Design using UDK, Flash, C++/JAVA, Apple iOS, XNA, Premiere Pro, After Effects,  SketchUp, and MS Project.
