  • Future Play Toronto Accepting Paper Submissions

  • Organizers of the Future Play conference have announced that they are accepting paper submissions from students, professors, academic researchers, and professionals of video game development for their November summit in Toronto.

    The conference will focus on three main themes: 1) future game design theory and technology, 2) future game impacts and applications, and 3) future game design talent. Submitted papers should also relate to the overall theme and goal of the conference—academic research and knowledge-sharing about computer games and digital media.

    Future Play 2008 will take place November 3 through 5 in Toronto. Registration is currently open. For more information about submitting a paper topic, or to register for the event, visit www.futureplay.org.

    Paper submission deadline: June 30, 2008
    Notification: July 15, 2008
    Final paper submission: August 15, 2008
