  • GDC: 36 Third-Party PlayStation Move Partners Revealed

  • Following the final form reveal of its PlayStation Move motion controller last night, Sony Computer Entertainment revealed that 36 third-party developers and publishers have pledged to support the platform.

    SCE has already disclosed several titles it's working on with internal studios for the motion controller, including SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs, Move Party, Little Big Planet, EyePet, and Motion Fighters. The company says it plans to release more than 20 titles with PlayStation Move support by the end of its 2010 fiscal year (March 31st, 2011).

    The full list of third-party developers and publishers working on or planning to work on the platform follows:

    SCE hopes to begin selling PlayStation Move this fall with three different packages: a standalone controller, a bundle with the required PlayStation Eye camera, motion controller and game, and a bundle with PS3 hardware, motion controller, PlayStation Eye and game. It's currently targeting a $100 price point for the camera, motion controller, and game bundle.

    "This is our biggest effort of the year," commented Sony Computer Entertainment America marketing head Peter Dille last night.
