D3 Promotes Takenaka To President, CEO

 D3Publisher, a subsidiary of D3, Inc., has announced the promotion of its current executive vice president and COO, Yoji Takenaka, to president and CEO of D3P America and Europe, granting him the responsibility of directing all operations in those regions. The developer and publisher has also appointed Hidetaka Tachibana, who joined the company in 2004, as its CFO in North America.
Previous to D3P, Takenaka served as director of business development at THQ, where he led the expansion for the WWE brand. Prior to that, he was vice vice president of business development at Intermetrics Studio/Looking Glass Studios. Takenaka has also held executive positions with JVC and Turbo Graphics Inc.
Tachibana boasts over 12 years of experience in managerial and executive roles, having served as a board member and as the director of store development and finances at NetSquare Co. He has also worked as the director of store development and design at Fed Ex Kinko’s Japan Co., Ltd.
