Default Does Games Need to be Update

Hi! Sorry if I post my question in this discussion. First of all, I am not a game developer but I have to admit that I play many games. I just notice in games that I play. Games are updating. I wonder why?

There are a variety of reasons to update a game. The players may have reported bugs to the publisher, and those bugs have to be fixed. Or the publisher may have created new DLC and needs to update the game to provide opportunities for players to access the new content (increasing revenues for the publisher). Or it may just be new content, in order to keep players playing.

ronniedavid, please don't answer questions that were asked more than four weeks ago - this topic had been dormant for a year!
