What should my resume have?

I am working on rulesests, lore and dialogue of a series of games for a few years.
I am also writing reviews and editorials on a gaming site.
What should I do to better my resume?
Should I have a site to showcase my work?
Should I create text adventures (I tried to make simple stuff with my friends but it didn't go as well as I thought)?
Are there other genres I can make games of by my own that focus on writing?Should I persue a degree in communications and business administration, or I should get in something else?
What jobs between now and the ghaming career I should go for?
