Opportunity for Programmers through the DOE Gaming Project

The U.S. Department of Energy has assembled a team of student and graduate game designers, programmers, and artists to create a mobile game for iOS and Android powered phones as a new recruitment initiative. We are seeking to create a puzzle/strategy game that will appeal to people coming out of STEM field degree programs and spark their interest and curiosity in the DOE and what it represents.

We are at the tail end of preproduction right now, and we are looking to expand the team further. We are seeking Programmers with proficiency in Unity and Javascript who are available to commit to at least 10 hours a week of work on the project.

This is not a paid position. However, it is being backed by the PR, Legal, and Marketing divisions of the Department of Energy, and as such will receive a large amount of publicity and support. This is a golden opportunity to get your name out there and show the world what you are capable of.
