I applied for a position as a QA Tester....but

I applied last Thursday for a QA Testing position and called to follow-up this week. The call was answered by a receptionist, who then redirected to me to somebody. It went to voicemail and I left a message.

I then called the next day, hoping I could get a hold of them, and I didn't.

And then for the final time I called yesterday, this time asking for the hiring manager...I got a different voicemail it seemed, but again...no answer.

I'm not going to be calling again, possibly until next week. But it's a little frustrating that I can't get through to anyone.

Tips? Should I just be patient? I've been waiting for a long time for an opportunity like this to come up and I'm afraid if I miss it I might not get another for a long time.
