Speaking as someone who has yet to graduate let alone go into the field, i think your nuts for quitting the first job, (no offense) but this is a very big decision, and you have to look at a ton of different factors. Personally, if it was me, i would go with the game dev. company, but I am probably younger and deffinately less experienced than you, so i would make the game dev. choice because that is my dream, but if you have a family, for example, you may want to take the better pay and benefits. Its your choice friend, i wish you the best of luck in whichever you choose

Yeah, I notice that JeiJei hasn't yet answered my question as to why he did that, whether he had a reason that will sound reasonable to his next job interviewer.
BTW, Jimbo -- your saying the above indicates that you probably ARE passionate (as you doubted in your new thread elsewhere on these forums).
