Im looking for somewhere to get audio for the game im making. But i cant pay for it (im 14, so ive got no money), so free music sites may be usefull. However, i expect a lot of these would say 'not for commersial use', so if i made a game good enough to sell, i wouldnt be able to. Basically, i need somewhere, or someone where i can get free music for commersial use.

There is a lot of good free software available on the internet. And a basic usb mic costs around $5 or less. Of course, you'll probably want to invest in better audio recording devices in due time, but I suggest you start cheap and see how it goes.

If you have an xbox headset then that mic would be sufficient if you are wanting to do voice overs.

edit sounds you find on the internet to make them your own or synthesize your own from scratch. When you do get money, (or if you go to a college/highschool/library with a public computer lab that has this software) I highly recommend GarageBand. It has a library full of a ton of different sounds, a nice visual interface that's easy to learn/use, and is really good for making musical arrangements. The only major downer to it is that its only for Macs. |

I've got FL Studio, and a Snowball mic. If you still need sounds, I'm a freelance audio designer I might be able to help you and I charge $0. I've already got a small datadase of sounds, mostly shooter audio. I've also got dozens of original compositions if you're looking for music. Just send me a private message.
