Well, he did keep it simple in his end result. Then again, if it worked for cars in Vigilante 8, why couldn't it for Pong paddles as well?

Exactly! Who wouldn't want guns on their pong paddles? 2/3rds of the entries have included such a feature, so it's obvious that those who don't are in the minority. It works with other sports style games too... just imagine it... Soccer where the players are armed! Try to imagine a cross between Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder. Or Wii Fit jogging where you're allowed to shoot the competition? The Possibilities are Endless!
Btw where is Ducky's entry? I'm interested to see how that came out. Last edited by Claxon : 11-17-2008 at 04:47 AM. |

I'd definitely play a mixture of SWOS and Cannon Fodder, I imagine it ending up like Smash TV but with football.
When shall we aim to have the judging completed by?

ooo I liked this idea of these sort of challenges...Only wish I could join in - but this is way too far over my head, haha. I get confused just looking at coding etc...so hm yes.
Keep it up. Just get a certain length up and running when results will be done, you should've really sorted that out before hand, as it kinda made the process look messy. Plus I would be annoyed not kjnowing an exact date from the start when results would be shown. Good Luck for future Challenges People! |

Yea that would have been nice, but we are kind of throwing this together as we go. The next one will be more clean

Yes, true - jus think it would have been better to approach it by organising it first, have a few people who don't mind or can't take part in the actual challenge to be jusges then sort out the time scale of how long peopl;e have to get a proposal/submition done and how long the judges have to judge before displaying the results and then actually propsing the first challenge.
Nevermind thou, just something to think about next time you have a brilliant amazing idea ![]() |
