What should my resume have?

I am working on rulesests, lore and dialogue of a series of games for a few years.
I am also writing reviews and editorials on a gaming site.
What should I do to better my resume?
Should I have a site to showcase my work?
Should I create text adventures (I tried to make simple stuff with my friends but it didn't go as well as I thought)?
Are there other genres I can make games of by my own that focus on writing?Should I persue a degree in communications and business administration, or I should get in something else?
What jobs between now and the ghaming career I should go for?

Thanks for the help.

1. YES.
2. If you want to. Do you want to?
3. Perhaps.
4. A degree in writing would be best.
5. If you want to!
6. Writing jobs.

Re: What should my resume have?

Thank you for the response. I'd like to study writing, but the closest thing there is to writing is communications and English in some places. I thought to study business administration or law to have another way into the industry.

I'll get a paying writing job.

If writing in a way of a Bioware game with the multiple endings and so is enough, I prefer that way. Do you have any general tips on what I need to do to better my resume?

Thanks, I've read it twice. To sum it up, I need to write, I need to gain professional experience in writing, I need to get formal education as well though it would be very hard to get it here, and I need to be innovative in getting my name out there.

I'd like to ask if there are any hindrances to non native speakers who wish to be writers in English?

Of course. That should be obvious. Just immerse yourself fully in English. Live, eat, breathe English. Become super-fluent.

The games I play, the shows and movies I see, the books I read and what I write is all in English. The only way to prove I am on par with native speakers is with the quality of my work, so I'm focusing on honing my craft.

Re: What should my resume have?

There is no set length for a resume. A resume varies in length depending on your experience and education. If you haven't worked much before, one or two pages is best, but three pages is okay if you've got a lot of study and work behind you.
