Student looking for resources
Hey guys,
Me and the search button weren't getting along so i figured i would post here. I am a current student about to graduate with a Associates in Visual Communications and im going back for game art at full sail. I have about 3 months before I actually leave to go, I have a basic knowledge of max and i have search countless hours of tutorials the issues im having is most tutorials aren't detailed enough. Are there any resources that go through the entire pipeline from start to finish in immense detail for game character art. preferable 3dsmax/mud box as the 3d/sculpting cause i have more knowledge in max and no z brush |
Re: Student looking for resources
Have you checked 3DBuzz? Usually they are pretty good.

Re: Student looking for resources
I would just like too 2nd Yaustar, 3DBuzz is amazing for new and experienced learners.
I’ve just been accepted to university for game design with a scholarship just from my 3d art and I learnt 90% of that from 3DBuzz. I found they make it fun and it of high quality. |
Re: Student looking for resources
Have you checked out the Autodesk site?
http://students.autodesk.com/ If you don't have your own copy of the programs, they are also available for download for students. :) Also digital tutors is really great (though not free, like these tutorials). |
