As part of its continuing promotion of the upcoming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Ghosts, Activision revealed recently that players would be accompanied by a dog companion for the duration of the game's campaign.
Despite their popularity as pets, dogs aren't featured in very many video games. This is both a crime and a shame. Things need to change, and quickly.
